Summer Course Advanced Grading

Dear paid and booked participant,

Thank you for confirming your place at the KBK Alliance 2026 Summer Course. We are pleased to welcome you to this important training and grading event in Dorking. This weekend is designed to challenge and develop your skills through focused sessions and formal gradings for advanced ranks.

Large Sports Hall
Ashcombe School
Dorking, RH4 1LY

Schedule:

Saturday, 18th July
1:00 PM — Course Commencement (please arrive on time; late arrivals will not be permitted to join)
5:00 PM — End of Day One

Sunday, 19th July
9:45 AM — Morning Briefing
10:00 AM — Course Run Begins (late arrivals will not be permitted to join)
12:00 PM — Lunch Break
Grading / Assessment (Linework, Kata, Fitness, etc.)
5:00 PM — End of Day Two

What to Bring:

• Training gear suitable for fitness sessions
• Non-marking indoor training shoes or barefoot (please note this is not a fully matted training area)
• Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for all weather conditions
• Running shoes/kit for the Sunday morning run
• Full martial arts uniform for all grading elements (mandatory for Sunday)
• Plenty of water
• Light snacks for Saturday
• Lunch and snacks for Sunday
• Change of clothes
• Full kit bag (including pads, mouthguard, etc.) – You must full gear to grade otherwise you can not take part
• Grading club uniform- You must have KBK club uniform to grade otherwise you can not take part

Important:

Spectators are not permitted during training sessions. Family or friends are welcome to attend the presentation at the conclusion of the course on Sunday. Please note that photography and filming are not permitted during training or grading.
